#1
🤖 Bot Mode — a whole team of bots, not one assistant
You can turn your Hermes profiles into a roster of named Bots — each with its own role, model, memory, skills, and even an avatar. Bots can run their own routines, join group chats together, and message each other to coordinate. Think: a "Researcher" bot, a "Housekeeper" bot, and a "Coder" bot — all reachable from your phone.
Why this will surprise you: you already chat with Hermes on WhatsApp — but you could be running a small AI staff from that same chat, where the bots brief each other and just send you the result.
Try it: hermes bots — or ask me in chat to set up your first bot.
#2
🔐 Credential Vault — logs in and pays for you, without ever seeing a password
Hermes can sign into websites, fill addresses, and complete payments without a single password or card number ever appearing in the chat. Secrets stay encrypted in your vault (local, 1Password, or Bitwarden), get filled directly into the page, and you approve sensitive steps from your own device.
Why this will surprise you: most people assume an AI agent must "know" your credentials to use them. Hermes inverts that — it can act on your accounts while being cryptographically unable to leak them.
Try it: next time a login is needed, I'll prompt you to save it into the vault once — and never ask again.
#3
🎙️ "Hey Hermes" — wake-word voice conversations
Hermes has a hands-free wake word: say "Hey Hermes" and a real-time voice session starts — Siri-style. Voice mode works in the CLI, on Telegram, and on Discord (DMs, text channels, and even voice channels, where it can hang out and talk).
Why this will surprise you: the same agent that answers your texts can join a Discord voice channel and hold a spoken conversation — powered by the same memory and tools.
Try it: send me a voice message — or ask me to reply to you as a voice note right now.
